Self Leveling Glides

Our Self Leveling Glides, also called Automatic Leveling Glides, as the names imply, allows a table or other unit to automatically be leveled on a floor preventing it from “wobbling” on uneven floors.These are perfect to automatically level Restaurant Table Bases.   We stock two styles:

• AUTOMATIC SPRINGLEVELING GLIDE – This style has a spring and cam activated automatic leveling function that adjusts up to 1/8” in height.  Designed to function with 6-1/4 to 35 pounds of weight per glide.  A stronger spring with a higher weight range is available.  The part has a 1-1/4” OD, outside diameter, black nylon body with 304 stainless steel spring for durability.  Stocked as 810-4-24 with 1/4-20 x 3/8” stud and 810-5-1 with 5/16-18 x 1” with bottom hex stud.  (Link to schematic)
• AUTO LEVEL GLIDE - This style has a spring and hydraulic “putty” that within a minute will automatically adjust up to 3/32” in height.  Designed to function with 5-100 pounds of weight per glide.  The part has a 15/16” OD zinc plated steel base with 1-1/8” ODzinc plated steel top cap.   Stocked as 806-24 with 1/4-20 x 5/16” with bottom hex stud and 890-5-NLC-B with 5/16-18 x 1-1/2” with bottom hex stud and assembled to a 1-1/4” OD black poly cap. Also stock 808-B-OS black poly base cap and 808G-OS gray poly base cap to convert from a steel to plastic base.     Also available as a nail on glide to tack into in a wood base.  (Link to schematic)
